Mechanic - Fleet Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining our fleet, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues to get our buses back on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Diagnose and repair issues with our fleet of vehicles
- Assist with mobile emergency services as needed

Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
- Basic mechanic's tool set
- ASE certification a plus
