Job Summary

Maxonic is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance tasks, including repairs to doors, windows, roofs, and other building parts. You will also assist in assembling furniture and other wood and metal structures, install and maintain master locking systems, and repair electrical components.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs to building systems and equipment.
2. Assist in assembling and installing furniture and other wood and metal structures.
3. Install and maintain master locking systems and keying programs.
4. Repair electrical components, including replacement of ballasts, bulbs, and fixtures.
5. Test circuits and clear plumbing clogs.
6. Perform daily checks and inspections of exterior lighting, grounds, and irrigation systems.
7. Assist contractors when access to buildings is needed.
8. Schedule routine and emergency maintenance of company vehicles.
9. Update various documents, including work orders related to labor and/or materials.
10. Participate in on-going training to maintain and update knowledge of personal skills and knowledge inventory.
11. Utilize computerized work order system.
12. Maintain conference center furniture and room partitions.
13. Notify Property Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician of A/V equipment needing repair or maintenance.
14. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements:
1. High school graduate preferred.
2. Valid California Driver's License required.
3. 2-3 years' experience in electro-mechanical systems repair.
4. Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel computer programs.
5. Familiarity with hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints.
6. Ability to move, lift, and deliver light furniture as needed.
7. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
8. Ability to maintain confidential information.
9. Physical effort: ability to lift 50 pounds and move bulky supplies, equipment, and furniture.
10. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
11. Ability to participate in emergency call back and standby duty.
