About the Role

First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in Stamford, Darien, and Greenwich school districts. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on buses, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with buses
  • Assist with mobile emergency services
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
