Job Title: Business Services Manager

Broward County, FL is seeking a highly skilled Business Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Purchasing Division, you will be responsible for managing various programs, including the procurement card program, surplus program, and training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, finance, and administration, with experience in managing multiple programs and projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with county policies and procedures, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement card program, including processing transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Oversee the surplus program, including inventory management, disposal, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement training programs for procurement staff and other county employees.
  • Ensure compliance with county policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including financial reports and procurement data.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in procurement, finance, or administration, with a strong background in managing multiple programs and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, including financial reports and procurement data.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) certification.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems, including procurement card management and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of county policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
