Program Technical Lead

Fibertek, Inc. is a leading developer of laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace community. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a group of experts in developing new laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications systems. As the Technical Program Lead, you will interface with customers and develop system design concepts that meet program objectives. Your role will include establishing system key performance parameters, leading engineering and manufacturing teams, and assigning tasks to program team members. The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering, 5-10 years of design, build, and test experience, and a minimum of 5 years of program management experience with electro-optic or laser systems. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:
Establish system key performance parameters
Lead engineering and manufacturing teams
Assign tasks to program team members
Develop system design concepts that meet program objectives
Interface with customers
Establish requirements flow-down to subsystems
Keep senior management appraised of status/issues

Requirements:
BS in engineering
5-10 years of design, build, and test experience
Minimum of 5 years of program management experience with electro-optic or laser systems
Strong communication and documentation skills
Excellent customer interfacing skills
