Construction Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Satisfaction: Compile and resolve punch list items, perform final walk-throughs with customers, and secure signed completion certificates.
  • Customer Communication: Conduct pre-construction meetings, provide daily project updates, and maintain open communication with customers and clients.
  • Construction Management: Schedule subcontractors, ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local codes, and document project activities.
  • Subcontractor Management: Set expectations, maintain quality standards, evaluate vendors, and coordinate inspections.
  • Cost Control and Schedule Adherence: Ensure material delivery, validate schedules, and identify areas outside of contracted scope.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven track record of customer service, effective communication, basic math skills, and experience in restoration and/or construction.
  • Education: High school diploma/GED and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Compensation:

$25.00 per hour
