Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Allied Health Solutions. As a Part-Time EMS Provider, you will be responsible for providing basic emergency medical care to critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic emergency medical care to patients in emergency situations
  • Transport patients to medical facilities using ambulances or other emergency vehicles
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medical procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Current WV EMS Certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate level degree from a regionally accredited post-secondary educational institution
  • National Registry of EMTs Emergency Medical Technician certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, AHA Preferred
  • Experience as a field provider at the EMT level
