PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

Conduct analytical and raw material tasks to guarantee the consistency of laboratory evaluations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform testing on incoming raw materials, in-process/bulk/intermediate, finished products, and stability samples utilizing primarily wet bench and physical methodologies.
  • Ensure testing is executed accurately and adheres to GLP, GMP, USP, SOP, and other sanctioned testing protocols.
  • Meticulously document raw data and analyze, compute, and interpret the outcomes.
  • Oversee laboratory reagents, including but not limited to inventory management, current SDS, PPE requirements for handling, waste generation, and disposal procedures.
  • Advocate for GMP and safety practices throughout the facility.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Be aware of potential exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Engage in additional tasks as directed by the Quality Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

Familiarity with fundamental laboratory techniques employed in an analytical setting, including but not limited to volumetric glassware, analytical weighing, pH measurement, viscosity, specific gravity, and infrared spectroscopy.

Proficiency in utilizing a personal computer and peripheral devices to accurately input and analyze data and generate reports.

Understanding of chemical safety protocols and protective equipment.

Capability to adhere to established priorities, work autonomously, and maintain productivity.

Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues.

Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities, while maintaining focus and delivering quality work.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field is required.
