In the role of Advanced Analytics Specialist, you will lead and engage in initiatives that leverage extensive datasets to formulate recommendations and solutions. Daily Activities:
As an Advanced Analytics Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching, learning, and applying innovative techniques to solve complex problems.
- Choosing the most effective methodologies to develop predictive and prescriptive models that yield actionable insights.
- Employing statistical testing and experimental design when necessary.
- Integrating artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve decision-making processes.
- Utilizing effective project management strategies to decompose projects into manageable tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Establishing success metrics and monitoring model performance.
- Continuously researching and implementing advancements in AI/ML models and methodologies.
- Creating predictive and prescriptive models of varying complexities to extract insights and drive decisions.
- Conducting regular maintenance on models.
- Initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal oversight.
- Providing thought leadership in the analytics domain.
- Collecting data from diverse sources and ensuring data integrity throughout all stages of acquisition, processing, and transformation.
- Utilizing Git for version control and possessing knowledge of DevOps and agile practices.
- Experience in at least three of the following areas: predictive analytics, machine learning, unsupervised learning, optimization, simulation.
- Proficient experience in scripting with a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write efficient and well-structured queries.
- Experience working with diverse data types (e.g., databases, JSON, text, images, and unstructured data).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or creating visualizations within a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, R).
- Excellent storytelling abilities, particularly in conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience in project management.
- A strong desire for intellectual growth and the ability to adopt new knowledge and skills to enhance performance.
- A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
- The ability to work effectively in an office setting for extended periods, including sitting, standing, and using a computer.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration in a technology-driven environment.
