Key Responsibilities

  • Compose preliminary legal documents, responses to discovery requests, engagement letters, and various correspondence. Additionally, edit, proofread, and format documents to align with firm and legal standards.
  • Process attorney expense reimbursements and manage client-related vendor invoices for payment.
  • Assemble hearing, deposition, and trial binders.
  • Finalize legal briefs, ensuring consistent formatting and preparing the Table of Contents and Table of Authority.
  • Engage in communication with clients, courts, and vendors.
  • Oversee the calendar and contacts for attorneys, including scheduling meetings, calls, and tracking deadlines.
  • Maintain both physical files and an electronic filing system utilizing NetDocs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting a litigation practice, with knowledge of court rules and e-filing procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in formatting documents using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in NetDocuments, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Outlook and database applications, with the ability to adapt to new software tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
