Family Medicine Physician Faculty Position

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a talented and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our esteemed Faculty team. As a Core Faculty Physician, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Family Medicine by teaching, mentoring, and guiding our residents in their academic and clinical pursuits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum for Family Medicine residents, focusing on inpatient and outpatient care, clinical teaching, and scholarly activity.
- Contribute to the program's research and education initiatives, with opportunities to develop areas of expertise and contribute to the residency curriculum.
- Collaborate with the Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Minnesota to enhance your academic and leadership skills.
- Participate in the education of medical students from the University of Minnesota, contributing to their clinical and academic growth.
About the Program
Hennepin Healthcare's Family Medicine Residency Program is a highly respected and accredited program, known for its excellence in preparing well-rounded residents for outpatient clinical practice, obstetrical and inpatient care for underserved patients. Our program features opportunities in holistic and integrative medicine, women's health, sports medicine, geriatrics, diabetes education, and international health.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Current DEA certification.
- Basic Life Support Certification or completion.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota (or eligibility).
