About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment, instruct patients, and prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff, demonstrating a professional and caring attitude.
  • Consistently deliver outstanding service, prioritizing activities based on demands for service and remaining alert to errors in own work and others.
  • Maintain awareness of patient rights, confidentiality, and informed decision-making, and demonstrate knowledge of resources available for ethical concerns.
  • Practice cost-efficiency and perform technical skills proficiently in accordance with established standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist or eligible.
  • MRI Registry – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or eligible.
  • Texas State Licensure.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
  • One to two years in diagnostic radiology or equivalent, with an additional one to two years of experience in MRI.
