Transportation Sales Representative

Capital Professionals is seeking a motivated and self-starting Transportation Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for building relationships with carriers in the truckload marketplace, identifying and sourcing new carriers, and establishing internal relationships to expand your book of business. You will also be responsible for managing carrier networks to ensure proper levels of service and utilizing data-driven resources to make informed buying decisions.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers in the truckload marketplace
- Identify and source new carriers to expand our network
- Establish internal relationships to grow your book of business
- Manage carrier networks to ensure high levels of service
- Utilize data-driven resources to inform buying decisions
- Strong work ethic and driven nature
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to learn quickly and multitask
- Money motivation and high-level organizational skills
- Ability to negotiate, motivate, and influence others
