Division Chief of Biomedical Imaging Informatics

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Division Chief of Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the research and teaching activities of the Division, and will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, physics, biomedical informatics, data science, imaging science, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the research and teaching activities of the Division
- Develop and implement research strategies to advance the field of biomedical imaging informatics
- Mentor junior faculty and researchers
- Develop and teach courses in biomedical imaging informatics
- Secure funding for research and educational initiatives
Requirements:
- PhD and/or MD and/or equivalent degree in a relevant field
- Strong background in computer science, engineering, physics, biomedical informatics, data science, imaging science, or a related field
- Experience in leading research and educational initiatives
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
