Chief of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Division

The Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Division. This esteemed position requires a renowned expert in the field, with a proven track record of excellence in education, clinical practice, and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop clinical services, education, research, and community engagement activities for the Division.
  • Lead a team of faculty, staff, and trainees to advance the field of developmental-behavioral pediatrics.
  • Secure funding and produce high-quality research that drives innovation and improvement in the field.
  • Mentor and nurture the development of young academic clinicians.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance the mission of the Division.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A deep understanding of the needs of the safety net population.
