Your responsibilities include:
Maintaining high-tech semiconductor processing equipment in optimal working condition.
Engaging with a diverse array of advanced machinery within our specialized technology sectors, such as:
Physical Vapor Deposition and Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition.
Dry Etching (Plasma Etching).
Lithography, Wet Etching / chemical processing, and Wafer Bonding.
Oxidation, Annealing, and Atomic Layer Deposition.
Metrology.
Providing support to colleagues in other sectors as required.
Ensuring equipment availability and developing/enhancing maintenance strategies and protocols.
Conducting both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, which includes root cause analysis, maintenance planning, evaluation, documentation, and ongoing improvements.
Proactively addressing potential equipment issues and ensuring timely reordering of spare parts and consumables.
Maintaining close collaboration with equipment owners and operations technicians for effective maintenance execution.
Upholding safety standards for the team, equipment, and environment.
Participating in response teams for complex machine/process failures and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be part of:
The Senior Equipment Maintenance Specialist reports to the Manager of Equipment & Maintenance Engineering within the MEMS & Micro Devices business unit at Philips Engineering Solutions.

You will join the MEMS maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the availability and functionality of the processing equipment utilized in the development and production of MEMS & Micro devices.

To excel in this role, you will need a customer-centric mindset and the following qualifications:

MBO+/HBO certification in a technical field relevant to the industry (electronics, mechatronics, physics, materials science, mechanics, chemical engineering) with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing setting.

Experience in MEMS and/or semiconductor production is highly advantageous.
A flexible approach to work hours, including evenings or weekends in case of emergencies.
A strong desire to learn the technical intricacies of all equipment.
Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
(Basic) understanding of (computer) control systems, PLCs, and networks.
Willingness to operate in a clean-room environment.

Potential readiness to work in two shifts in the future (this is a possibility, not a current requirement).
