Key responsibilities include:

  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure optimal workflow and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating and managing daily operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Implementing lean inventory and manufacturing measures to improve efficiency.
  • Ensuring production schedules are adhered to and maintaining on-time delivery at 95% or above.
  • Monitoring production processes and identifying bottlenecks to implement solutions.
  • Ensuring all assembly processes adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyzing production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaising between manufacturing and engineering to provide feedback and foster cooperation.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in an assembly environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve production goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering and manufacturing drawings.
  • Advanced computer skills in MRP/ERP, Microsoft Word, Excel.
