This role is responsible for performing a range of duties in the pharmacy, including non-sterile compounding, assisting pharmacists, and optimizing workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medication and pharmacy operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions- Performs non-sterile compounding for hazardous and non-hazardous drugs
- Assists pharmacists and team members in facilitating resolutions and optimizing workflows
- Demonstrates an advanced understanding of medication and pharmacy operations
- Performs quality assessments and troubleshoots formulation issues
- Proficient in compounding complex hazardous preparations and coordinating use of biological safety hood
- Assists in managing drug shortages and maintaining adequate stock levels
- Resolves complicated billing issues and provides training to technicians
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of sterile compounding and outpatient hospital experience
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the California Board of Pharmacy
- Certified Pharmacy Technician credential issued by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board

Pay RangeCompensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
