Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on architectural solutions, backend APIs, and testing frameworks.
  • Develop TDD, functional, and automated tests for both new and existing features.
  • Document code thoroughly and participate in peer code evaluations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational challenges for deployed features.
  • Support the successful launch and deployment of features.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Proven track record as a software developer, particularly with cloud-based development, ideally on AWS.
  • Strong expertise in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, along with relevant frameworks.
  • Experience in designing and constructing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures on AWS, including Fargate and Lambda.
  • Solid grasp of software development methodologies, agile practices, and CI/CD processes using Terraform.
  • Familiarity with software testing principles, including TDD and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience in developing data acquisition and transformation systems is preferred.
