The Warranty Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the submissions, cancellations, and reconciliations of Warranty and Insurance products. This position involves performing a variety of routine tasks including calculating, posting, and verifying data to ensure accurate record-keeping. The specialist may also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of figures and postings made by other staff members. Additional office responsibilities may include sorting, filing, copying, responding to telephone inquiries, and other tasks as assigned, including covering for reception or cashier roles when necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess experience as a posting clerk, preferably with ADP or similar dealership software, along with a minimum of two years of experience in an automotive dealership setting. An Associate's degree or related educational background is preferred.

The following tasks are representative of the responsibilities associated with this role:
- Review and analyze files, records, and other documents to gather information for inquiries.
- Operate office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and personal computers.
- Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately and taking messages as needed.
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or digitally.
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and business transactions.
- Compute, record, and proofread data and other information, including reports.
- Engage with customers, employees, and other individuals to address inquiries, disseminate information, and resolve complaints.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
