- Executing comprehensive audit programs and adhering to established guidelines with precision.
- Addressing any outstanding issues from evaluations or written communications with member credit unions.
- Reporting any significant findings or anomalies discovered during evaluations to management and examination teams.
- Drafting detailed reports summarizing the results of evaluations;
- Engaging in ongoing professional development through training opportunities provided by the organization and staying informed about changes in regulatory standards, industry practices, and auditing methodologies.
- Upholding the confidentiality of sensitive information obtained during evaluations or other communications with credit unions.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
- Gaining extensive exposure to the operations of financial institutions of varying sizes and complexities. Our audit team communicates findings both verbally and through written reports to senior management of these institutions.
- Receiving job-specific training and encouragement to pursue advanced degrees and certifications.
- Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Willingness to travel overnight up to approximately 35%, primarily within designated regions.
