About the Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator Confidential to support the Employee Services Assistant Director in the Division of Institutional Planning & Operations (IP&O) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Director, including resolving employee issues, progressive discipline, and labor management for all IP&O employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, including labor negotiations documents, with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating knowledge of office administration, organization, coordination, facilitation, bookkeeping, and/or report writing.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to deal with a diverse staff and a wide variety of situations with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
