About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Affordable Property Manager to join our team at CRMG. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 42-unit low-income housing apartment community in Downtown Portland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, income certification, and maintaining property integrity.
  • Screen prospective residents, collect rents, serve notices, and develop reports.
  • Prepare agreements and perform bookkeeping tasks, including collecting rent and preparing financial reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Two years of previous customer service experience.
  • One year of previous property management experience.
  • Previous experience with Yardi Property Management Software is preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks and prepare financial reports.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
  • Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and safety protocols.
  • High school degree or equivalent.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $22-$25 per hour.
  • A monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for all business-related travels.
