Job Title: Affordable Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Affordable Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As an Affordable Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 90-unit low-income housing tax credit apartment community in Downtown Portland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, maintenance, and resident services.
  • Screen prospective residents and ensure compliance with fair housing laws.
  • Collect rents, prepare reports, and develop agreements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Two years of previous customer service experience.
  • One year of previous property management experience.
  • Experience with LIHTC communities required.
  • Previous Entrata Property Management Software experience preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform bookkeeping tasks.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $25-$28.
  • Monthly $50 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for business-related travel.
