As a Vehicle Appearance Specialist, your responsibilities will include meticulously cleaning and preparing both new and pre-owned vehicles for our clientele. This role involves washing, buffing, and waxing vehicle exteriors, as well as utilizing vacuums and various cleaning products to maintain the cleanliness of upholstery, carpets, and other interior surfaces. Additionally, you will be tasked with cleaning engines and engine compartments to eliminate grease and dirt. When not engaged in detailing, you may assist with fueling vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of the shop, and managing vehicle inventory as necessary. It is crucial that every vehicle is presented to customers in pristine condition, ensuring their satisfaction upon departure.
Qualifications for the Vehicle Appearance Specialist
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational background
- Fundamental understanding of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and operate hand and power tools safely
- High productivity while delivering quality workmanship; attention to detail is vital
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team
- Prior experience in a similar role is required
