Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document requirements for various initiatives, with a primary focus on data.
- Develop scoping documents, use cases, technical specifications, source-to-target mapping documents, and reporting requirements.
- Convert the needs of business units into technical specifications for the development team.
- Organize and facilitate meetings with technical and business stakeholders, external teams, and vendors.
- Engage in Requirements Definition and Documentation, Systems Analysis and Design, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing, and Deployment Coordination.
- Produce written communication materials that summarize findings and support recommendations.
- Transform data results into comprehensive reports, tables, graphs, and charts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role, focusing on documenting business and technical requirements.
- Experience with data warehousing is essential.
- Willingness to manage projects, in addition to fulfilling the Business Analyst role.
- Some background as a product owner or a strong desire to take ownership of initiatives.
- Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
- Experience in gathering requirements for ETL projects is required.
- Demonstrated experience with data warehouse projects is necessary.
- Proven expertise in Tableau is required.
- Experience collaborating with system vendors is preferred.
Bonus Qualifications: Proficiency in Python, experience with reporting services, practical experience as a Product Owner, and domain knowledge in Asset Management or Mutual Funds.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $105,000 - $135,000
- Additional rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
