We are currently seeking skilled Construction Project Coordinators with a proven track record in managing construction projects valued between $250,000 and $15 million or more.


Key Responsibilities:


Your role will involve planning, scheduling, and executing specific project scopes assigned to you at Harder.

You will collaborate with field teams to ensure that work is conducted safely, adheres to timelines, and meets Harder Mechanical's quality benchmarks.

Construction Project Coordinators at Harder undertake the following tasks:
• Review construction documents and compile project scopes and quantities
• Address engineering challenges through effective communication with design engineers, client representatives, and team members
• Oversee field construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Engage in work sequence planning
• Prepare and monitor work packages, including labor and cost estimates
• Track construction progress and provide weekly status updates
• Organize project documentation in an efficient control system
• Mentor junior engineers, taking responsibility for their training and development
• Assist the project manager with additional responsibilities as needed
• Estimate future project work

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam, with intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and experience interpreting mechanical and plumbing drawings
• Strong communication skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders including suppliers, field crews, designers, and clients
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Highly organized and productive
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong commitment to teamwork and client satisfaction
• Interest in LEAN construction methodologies
• Willingness to travel to different regions for exposure to various markets and industries
• Valid driver's license
• Mechanical aptitude

Education and Experience:
• 3-10 years of experience in construction management
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
