Job Summary

Washington City is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Program Coordinator to oversee the planning, organization, and operation of fitness programs at the Community Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, establish, and organize fitness programs, including group exercise classes and fitness events.
  • Recruit, hire, and train fitness staff, including group exercise instructors and personal trainers.
  • Monitor fitness program activities to ensure quality and provide guidance and direction to fitness staff.
  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations of fitness staff members.
  • Serve as a liaison to the community and provide updates and reports to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Background check and drug screening evaluation required for potential new hire candidates.
  • Ability to work under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and general supervision of the Assistant Leisure Services Director.
Working Conditions

The Fitness Program Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment and be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
