Job Overview

Position Summary: The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for executing a comprehensive range of maintenance, repair, and service tasks on large machinery. This role involves diagnosing equipment issues and performing necessary repairs. The ideal candidate must prioritize safety, efficiency, and productivity in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting of heavy equipment.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of machinery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
  • Work flexible hours, including potential overtime and weekends.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in heavy equipment mechanics is required.
  • Possession of personal hand tools is necessary.
  • Ability to work extended hours in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat.
  • Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) as needed.
  • Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
