We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Matthews Construction Co., Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment machines to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Document all work performed on heavy equipment and trucks, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and trucks, including technical manuals and diagnostic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- CDL drivers license with manual transmission endorsement.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
