We are in search of a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. You will also be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues across our fleet. A solid understanding of heavy machinery and trucks is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical documentation. Experience in welding and fabrication is advantageous. A valid CDL driver's license is required, as you will be assigned a service vehicle. Proficiency in computer systems is necessary, as you will utilize diagnostic tools and mobile devices for work orders and communication.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, drivetrain systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and perform minor bodywork on our fleet of heavy machinery and trucks.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on machinery and vehicles.
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Salary Range:** $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience

**Educational Requirements:**

- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience (preferred)
**Language Proficiency:**
- English (required)
**Licenses/Certifications:**
- Diesel Mechanic Certification is advantageous
- Class B CDL (Manual Transmission) is mandatory for this role
