Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Position Summary: The Asphalt Equipment Mechanic is responsible for executing a comprehensive range of maintenance, repair, and service tasks on heavy machinery. This role involves diagnosing equipment malfunctions and implementing effective repairs. The ideal candidate must prioritize safety, efficiency, and productivity in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on asphalt and heavy construction equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic is required.
- Possession of personal hand tools is necessary.
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions, including extreme heat.
- Capability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
- Must successfully pass a DOT Physical examination.
