About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at Artisan Studios, LLC. As a key member of our Systems Analysis team, you will work closely with stakeholders to execute deliverables for native-mobile, web-based, and client-server applications used by well-known companies and their customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business processes, functions, and procedures to determine the most effective software to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Establish system specifications and objectives, based on business requirements and cost effectiveness, and provide recommendations to management personnel.
  • Act as liaison between system software development staff, management, and end-users to determine requirements and obtain sign-off.
  • Build system architecture diagrams that are paired with technical specifications.
  • Ability to perform scrum master responsibilities and lead scrum ceremonies regularly.
  • Manage backlog prioritization while coordinating initiatives from many different areas.
  • Create detailed user stories which include business needs, technical requirements, acceptance criteria, etc.
  • Explore data from disparate & diverse data sources to derive insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation of systems and changes to their capabilities/features.
  • Assist with development of presentation material and project management planning.
  • Ability to lead stakeholder meetings to capture user requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Develop test plans and coordinate and perform software testing.
  • Support product decisions.
About the Candidate

Requirements
  • 5+ years of industry experience working in Systems Analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python and/or Java and/or Typescript programming languages and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling and data visualization tools (i.e. MIRO).
  • Prior experience on a scrum team using Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • Basic understanding of back-end development tooling (i.e. Kubernetes, Datadog, Postman, Databricks, etc.).
  • Ability to explore and advise on software processes and architecture (CI/CD, Microservices, API, testing, Git).
