Job Description

Job Summary:

The Agency Recruiter is responsible for driving business growth and expansion in their assigned region by developing and maintaining relationships with existing Member agencies and recruiting new Members. Under the general direction of the Regional Vice President, the Agency Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and signing new independent agencies within our assigned territory. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the CAA Independent Satellite Member (ISM) Recruitment program.
  • Collaborate with SIAA and CoVerica Marketing Department to identify and recruit ISMs.
  • Participate in company and agency functions to network and generate leads for company appointments and ISM prospects.
  • Develop and analyze information on ISM prospects to determine suitability for Membership in the network.
  • Negotiate and execute Independent Strategic Member Agreements as provided by CAA.
  • Meet with company marketing representatives to secure ISM appointments and sub-codes.
  • Review company experience reports to ensure quality business is being written by ISMs.
  • Participate in meetings on topical network subjects in conjunction with the home office.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular visitations with ISMs to review opportunities and Member Services.
  • Negotiate and monitor book transfers for ISMs.
  • Act as a liaison between ISMs, CAA, and Companies.
  • Institute and monitor ISM rehabilitation programs as needed.
  • Support and embody the company's mission and core values.
  • Help formulate and uphold policies and procedures for company-wide effectiveness, profitability, and compliance with state and federal law.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM with proper staging of opportunities, deal notes, and close dates.
  • Document all activities and visits by tracking and/or using set regard in CRM.
  • Delegate tasks to coworkers as needed.

  • Attend insurance company meetings and review company materials and products.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to assess and meet information needs.
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
