About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our interventional radiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement management and operational strategies, goals, and objectives for Interventional Radiology operations.
  • Foster a collaborative team-driven culture among IR technologists, nurses, and radiologists.
  • Oversee staff schedules, evaluate assigned technologists, and make authoritative recommendations for staff development and discipline.
  • Ensure adequate supply availability for interventional and therapeutic procedures.
  • Perform interventional procedures when necessary.
  • Monitor patient volume and equipment activity, ensuring optimal efficiency and peak performance.
  • Establish work priorities, adjust schedules as needed, and flex staff to meet changing patient needs.
  • Prepare and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing negative impacts on operations.
  • Participate in maintenance and safety programs for equipment, reviewing logbooks and initiating corrective action as needed.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, nurses, and patient care departments to improve services and resolve problems.
  • Perform employee evaluations, recommend personnel actions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in radiology or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • ARRT certification, current BLS, and NJDEP license.
  • Strong communication and workforce planning skills, with experience in scheduling and performance metrics.
  • Bilingual preferred.
