About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for planning and implementing management and operational strategies to ensure the smooth operation of our Interventional Radiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director and IR Manager to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives
  • Foster a collaborative team-driven culture among IR technologists, nurses, and radiologists
  • Oversee staff schedules, evaluate performance, and make recommendations for personnel actions
  • Ensure adequate supply of equipment and materials for interventional and therapeutic procedures
  • Perform interventional procedures as needed
  • Monitor patient volume and equipment activity to optimize staff utilization and efficiency
  • Establish work priorities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet patient needs
  • Prepare and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing negative impacts on operations
  • Participate in maintenance and safety programs for equipment
  • Review equipment logbooks and initiate corrective action as needed
  • Document weekly inspections and corrective actions taken
  • Ensure regulatory and Joint Commission compliance and readiness
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in radiology or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • ARRT certification, current BLS, and NJDEP license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Bi-lingual preferred
