About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in assisting interventionalists in various procedures, including oncology, vascular, and trauma cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in interventional procedures, maintaining a high level of skill and proficiency in handling supplies and instrumentation.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues and monitoring supplies and deficiencies.
  • Adhere to infection prevention policies, utilizing personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Maintain licensure and BLS certification, staying current with departmental training and education.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Participate in clinical activities, assisting with patient flow and care, and optimizing throughput in the radiology department.
  • Comply with departmental procedures, adhering to life safety, fire, and hazardous waste protocols, as well as radiation safety and infection prevention requirements.
  • Attend staff meetings and daily huddles to stay informed on department communications.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in interventional radiology or cardiovascular interventional technology.
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program for diagnostic radiology, with registry eligibility.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ARRT and NJ-RADTECH licenses.
  • NJ DEP license required upon hire.
