TEKsystems is seeking skilled individuals for the role of Financial Recovery Advisor.

This position requires onsite work.

Local candidates are preferred.

Role Overview: In a dynamic call center environment, you will engage in outbound and inbound communications, focusing on early-stage collections (1-30 days overdue) with a target for daily call volume.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with financial guidance and reduce losses for the credit union.
  • Reach out to members with overdue accounts to explore all available payment options and loss mitigation strategies.
  • Gather and analyze comprehensive financial data from members to identify the best solutions for resolving their delinquency.
  • Document arrangements, reasons for delinquency, and any proposed charge-off alternatives in the collection systems.
  • Propose both short-term and long-term solutions, including repayment plans, promises-to-pay, loan modifications, refinances, personal finance management, and deferral programs.
  • Clearly explain options for relinquishing debts, such as settlements.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state consumer protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, collections, or financial sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple systems while managing a high volume of incoming calls.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, patience, and empathy.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

  • Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mandatory for all Saturdays)

Note: A rotating day off during the week will be assigned due to Saturday work.

Availability: Must be open to working on holidays.

Training: 4 weeks of hybrid training, with 2 days per week onsite. Initial training includes phone etiquette, system navigation, and empathy skills, followed by additional onsite nesting for skill development.
