Position Overview

As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategy to align with our overarching business objectives. Collaborating closely with the executive leadership team, you will navigate our organizational growth and cultivate a culture of excellence and inclusivity. It is preferred that the CHRO operates within the Eastern Time Zone to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that supports our transition to a publicly traded entity.
  • Cultural Development: Foster a workplace culture characterized by integrity, inclusivity, and innovation.
  • IPO Preparation: Spearhead HR initiatives essential for IPO readiness, including executive compensation frameworks and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Executive Partnership: Provide strategic counsel to the executive team and board regarding HR policies and practices.
  • Performance Management: Design and execute performance evaluation and leadership development programs.
  • Organizational Change: Lead the organization through periods of growth and transformation, including the integration of newly acquired entities.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote transparent communication and collaboration across a distributed workforce while addressing employee concerns.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards across all operational jurisdictions.
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Continuous Improvement: Innovate HR processes to align with our growth trajectory.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Over 20 years of HR leadership experience, particularly within high-growth technology sectors and newly public companies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred. Relevant certifications such as SPHR/PHR are advantageous.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of HR regulations, including labor laws and industry-specific practices.
  • Remote Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage global remote teams effectively.
  • Executive Communication: Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships and high-profile executives.
  • Innovative Approach: A forward-thinking mindset towards leveraging technology in HR practices.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, with a talent for articulating a clear vision and fostering collaboration.
  • Ethical Standards: A strong commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in all HR activities.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $250,000 to $325,000 USD, depending on various job-related factors such as education, experience, and market conditions.
