Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Manager to lead our Patient Access department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating department activities, ensuring exceptional service to internal and external customers, and maintaining current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate department activities to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Act as a resource for internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory agency requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and EMTALA
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and participate in benchmarking to ensure departmental goals are met
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures to improve workflow and effectiveness of the department
Requirements
  • Previous management experience required
  • Experience with software and systems used in the department preferred
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
