Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Integris LLC. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients, providers, and payers through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Act as a liaison between Integris and patients, providers, and payers to facilitate efficient operations, expeditious reimbursement, and optimal customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
- Assist patients in understanding their coverage benefits and coverage terminology, ensuring they are aware of their financial liability and INTEGRIS Health's billing practices and policies.
- Collaborate with the patient registration team to provide accurate and timely registration services, ensuring seamless transitions between departments.
- Utilize standard office equipment and PC software to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providers, and payers to ensure a positive experience and high level of satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 1 year of patient access operations activities (scheduling/registration/insurance) or related experience (billing, collections, accounts receivables)
- Previous experience in one of the following: scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, collections, and customer service in either a hospital or physician's office setting
- May consider successful completion of 1100+ related Career Tech program or one year of college coursework in a related field in lieu of experience
- College coursework in a related field or Healthcare Certification (AAHAM CRCS, HFMA CRCR, NAHAM CHAA) preferred
- Previous experience with medical terminology, basic ICD 10 and CPT coding preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others in English (verbal/written)
