Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Physical Therapist (PT) to provide essential therapy services within a school environment. The PT will be responsible for evaluating and treating students with physical disabilities or motor function challenges, ensuring they receive the support needed to thrive in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to determine the physical therapy requirements of students.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to students, either individually or in group sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to enhance students' physical development.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans as required.
  • Provide guidance to school staff and parents on methods to support students' physical growth and involvement in school activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
  • Preferred experience working with children or in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective therapy strategies.
