Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Soliant Healthcare. As a School-Based Physical Therapist, you will work with students to improve their physical abilities, helping them participate fully in their educational environment and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' physical abilities, motor skills, and mobility needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving physical function and mobility.
  • Direct Physical Therapy Services: Provide direct physical therapy services to students, including exercises, interventions, and adaptive strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support and monitor student progress. Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
  • IEP Meetings and Support: Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for accommodations and interventions. Educate school staff and parents on strategies and exercises to support students' physical development.
Qualifications
  • Education: Doctorate or Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid Massachusetts PT license.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
