Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Persimmon Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our Controls Engineering group, you will be responsible for developing advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electromechanical systems. Your expertise in system dynamics and control systems theory will be essential in designing and implementing software on real-time platforms. Additionally, you will work closely with our Manager of R&D to develop dynamic models, perform machine design analysis, and select controls-related components. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, with proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++ programming. Responsibilities

Develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electromechanical systems
Design and implement software on real-time platforms
Work closely with the Manager of R&D to develop dynamic models and perform machine design analysis
Select controls-related components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

M.S./Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aeronautic Engineering
0-1 year of work experience in control systems engineering
Strong background in system dynamics and control systems theory
Proficiency in MATLAB and C/C++ programming
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
