Senior Java Software Engineer

Vestmark is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team.
As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java-based applications, services, and systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java and a solid understanding of backend and application architecture.
We are looking for a solutions-oriented individual who can contribute effectively within a team and has the ability to lead projects that include complex design and system integrations.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable and reliable Java-based software solutions.
- Contribute to the development of backend systems, microservices, and APIs that adhere to best practices and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable Java code.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in testing and debugging, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing.
- Utilize AWS cloud services to build and integrate scalable solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java and related frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
- Recent experience with RESTful API design and microservices implementations.
- Practical experience with AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and resilient software architectures.
- Strong knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
