Position Summary

The Business Manager plays a crucial role, reporting directly to the Executive Director. This position collaborates closely with various department heads, as well as corporate Human Resources and Accounting teams. Key responsibilities encompass billing, accounts receivable, and payables management. As an integral member of the leadership team, the Business Manager fosters a culture of professionalism and compassion for residents, their families, and our staff.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities, alongside exceptional customer service skills. Additional qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing a business office, hospitality, or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles and GAAP standards.
  • Familiarity with monthly profit and loss statements and departmental financial management.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Yardi is advantageous.
  • Background in healthcare, senior living, resort, or hospitality industries is preferred.
  • Able to conduct budget analysis and variance reporting effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of operating standard office equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while providing excellent customer service.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding all resident, employee, and financial information.
  • Adherence to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and accuracy in representing the community and its stakeholders.
