Bowery Residents Committee is committed to providing exceptional services to individuals experiencing homelessness in New York City. As a Homelessness Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working directly with clients to provide support and guidance.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

This role requires a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness and the ability to communicate effectively with them. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification. A food handler certificate and bilingual abilities are also preferred qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors to the facility in a professional manner.
  • Assist with transportation of clients to and from appointments and other placement points.
  • Provide relief at various posts as needed.
