Job Title: Mobile Health Unit Manager

Greater Health Now is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Health Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for facilitating mobile health services in community-based settings, working closely with program leaders to ensure operational support for clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedules for mobile health unit staff and ensure proper driver coverage
  • Monitor routine maintenance appointments for upkeep and functionality
  • Oversee staffing, onboarding, training, and delegation of work
  • Develop and maintain metrics reports to measure outcomes of mobile health services
  • Maintain accurate inventories of clinic and office supplies
  • Coordinate with partner locations on logistics such as space, access, and resources
  • Assist with patient registration, scheduling, filing, billing, and problem resolution
  • Coordinate community education events and participate in health promotion opportunities
  • Identify and collaborate with community stakeholders and partners
  • Facilitate and lead consortium of partners to implement mobile unit

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two or more years of work experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
  • Minimum of two years supervisory or coordinator experience, preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse populations and backgrounds

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and community-based healthcare initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to convey complex findings to stakeholders
  • Reliable and efficient work ethic
  • Passionate about health equity, population health, and community-based work
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs and align resources
  • Effective navigation of resources and opportunities

Work Environment:

The Mobile Health Unit Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring frequent walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods. The position will also require some travel across the GHN region.
