About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Administrator to join our team at Leidos, supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Department of Defense (DoD) Fourth Estate Agencies.

The ideal candidate will have technical expertise administering the full lifecycle of Linux and Windows platforms as code, with experience deploying new Windows and Linux servers in Azure and providing support for maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Windows and Linux servers in Azure using IaC, Ansible Automation Platform, or other automation platforms
  • Perform automation tasks through scripting and testing to ensure high-quality delivery of IT services
  • Research, test, and deploy security patches and vulnerability remediation changes to prevent security breaches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT system issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce sustainment costs

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $104,650 - $189,175

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance. (US Citizenship required)
  • Strong technical skills and experience with Azure Cloud services, Linux and Windows servers, and IaC tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team
