We are on the lookout for a dedicated Manufacturing Operations Consultant to support our Operational Technology (OT) initiatives in the manufacturing sector. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with both local and global teams to execute high-quality projects for clients in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for you to enhance your expertise in pharmaceutical IT/OT engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with seasoned professionals to understand the manufacturing processes of clients in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences sectors.
  • Engage in various phases of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects, assisting the team with design, development, installation, deployment, and commissioning of industrial IT solutions.
  • Contribute to the implementation of digitalization technologies and IT/OT solutions, ensuring the installation and qualification of pharmaceutical equipment and computer systems adhere to GxP and GAMP5 standards.
  • Support production processes through production-related IT/OT systems (MES/MOM) while applying relevant industrial standards such as ISA95 and OPC UA.
  • Assist in the deployment of production management systems (MES/MOM) for clients and facilitate their integration with enterprise resource planning systems (L4) or shop floor systems (L2).
Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in the OT environment (MES) within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Life Sciences industries.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing MES Systems or Historian Systems (e.g., PI).
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong technical documentation skills and effective presentation abilities.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a passion for working in a fast-paced project setting, along with some experience in software engineering or production-related IT solutions.
  • Willingness to travel for client site visits.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with GxP, particularly in manufacturing and regulatory compliance for biologics and pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience in process consulting, optimization, requirements engineering, and/or vertical MES integration (ERP, automation, LIMS, logistics).
